CONTESTBOOK

Contestbook is a software online which aims to stimulate users to write, read and illustrate stories. You can enter as a writer, a reader or an illustrator. There is a control room to give the participants information, hints and advice about the game.

The first hint is given by the control room; after that, the writers produce and release on line their first chapter. Afterwords, the readers read, assess the passages and give each of them a score and a motivated evaluation. The most voted fragment becomes the second part of the story and the game goes on...

In the same way illustrators produce the images for the story.

The final result is a book, which was written, read and evaluated together.The game could be useful to foster and spur users to writing and reading. The program further permits to display a classification of the authors and readers, in order to find the winner in each group.
